Dent Extractors NSW P/L was started by Andrew Turner, and has grown into a well renowned company in the field of paintless dent repairs (or PDR as it is known in the industry).

Andrew started in the automotive industry becoming a qualified motor mechanic, also obtaining qualifications as an auto-electrician, air conditioning specialist, and diesel mechanic. He gained his motor vehicle inspector's licence, became a member of The Institute Of Automotive Mechanical Engineers, and also branched out into the panel beating and spray painting fields. With complete knowledge of motor vehicles, inside and out, and running mechanical workshops for around 15 years, he noticed a gap in the industry for paintless dent removal to specialise in the repair of hail damaged cars and minor dents.

In March, 1993, Andrew started his own PDR business, and Dent Extractors nsw P/L has grown from there. After five years of operation, Joe Palombi (who also has an extensive background in the automotive field, including many years running his own automotive business) took over a subsidiary business, as owner operator of Dent Extractors Newcastle, to allow the company to cover a larger area. With the use of specialised sub-contractors, the company was now repairing hail damaged cars all over NSW and south-east Queensland for all major insurance companies. Since then, with further growth, Andrew's son Adam and Joe's son Roy have been trained to allow for better business operations.

Most recently (2003) Michael Mason has taken over another subsidiary of the business, Dent Extractors Gosford. Michael also has extensive knowledge in the automotive industry (as a qualified panel beater/spray painter) and has run his own panel shop for many years.

Today, Dent Extractors is called upon to repair hail damaged cars in other countries, giving the company further contact with more specialist repairers and allowing thousands of cars to be taken on for repairs.
